This is the History Reimagined Collection. It’s comprised of The Scholar, The Jester, The Swordsman, The Duke, The Bandit, The Empress, and The Priest.
This collection of seven designs was originally a school project, but I’m quite fond of each design that’s been drawn. Now, let me make this clear: these HAVE NOT been made yet. These designs require a lot of fabric, time, and money that I just do not have right now.
I hope one day that I can make these designs, but for the time being, they only exist on paper.
The Inspiration for these designs was Historical, yes, but also a lot of modern fashion as well. I wanted lots of ruffles, layers, and a bit of creative freedom when it came to these designs.
While the drawings lack color, if you search around the designs, you can see little arrows that tell you which pieces are which colors. I left them as pencil drawings out of fear of losing the many, many, little details that I’d added in pencil to the color.
I chose several types of people from a historical era to see if I could properly capture each piece of elegance they ooze.
