Greetings, my little freakazoids, I am Liberty Brigman and I’m so excited to share my vision of the Future of Fashion and the World.
It’s no mystery that I have a very *odd* sense of fashion. It’s my personal belief that fashion should be:
Sustainability is important to me. We only get one planet, and so far, we’ve only harmed her. It’s my personal belief that we should utilize our green souls to help the planet improve and thrive.
I believe that clothing can be reused and recycled, not just from sustainable fabrics, but also from the garment itself. A lot of my designs are Frankensteinian creations from clothing I no longer use or wear.
It truly creates some interesting and creative designs!
Reliability is massively important to me. In my own personal experience, there’s nothing I hate more than buying a piece of clothing that I’ve been dying to own, only to have it rip and tear after three wears.
Clothing should be made to last, not fall apart. This is part of what I try to create.
Comfort is something that should be incorporated into every piece of fashion. Have you ever heard the phrase, “Beauty is pain“?
Well, it’s wrong.
I believe that living life is uncomfortable enough; there’s no reason clothing should be too, which is why I strive to create comfortable and reliable clothing that serves its purpose without making us struggle.
Being Unique in one’s style isn’t something new to the 21st century. Everyone has their own personal taste, but sometimes we get so caught up in trends and what other people like that we forget what we like.
My style has always been a little too… odd for mainstream, but that doesn’t make it any less valid. It’s my belief that each garment should be unique; after all, we, as humans, are unique, unlike any other.
These beliefs are at the core of each and every design I bring to life. Each one takes into account all of these core values.
On my platform, I strive to create a safe and endearing design journey for all! I want people to be able to reach out if they need help or inspiration. Because, really, at the core of all of this, is people.
People are why I really do what I do. I always wanted to change the world when I was younger, and I plan to. Maybe to some, designing clothes doesn’t seem like a rather large change, but if I can help at least some people understand my purpose or strive to help others like I do, then that’s a job well done.
We have a long journey ahead of us, my friend, so join me on this thrilling design journey to learn and grow together!
