This comfy sweater was an experiment in draping. I happened to have about 2-3 yards of fabric left over after a project and wanted to see what I could do with it.
This is what created the Desert Stalker. It was inspired by the Costume Design of Dune, using the sandy color to blend into the desert.
This sweater was the result of boredom and extra fabric. I had a merchandising mannequin and just draped the fabric over it until it looked comfy and sewable. It’s very comfy to wear, though not exactly the warmest sweater.
