Okay, so, yes, I did like the Into the Spiderverse movies. But I’ve also found I like venom a lot more than Spider-Man. I like the idea of an alien like goop that just is like a little schizophrenic voice in Eddie Brock’s head. I took heavy inspiration from the Spider-Gwen that infused with Venom, like in the comic books, but I wanted a more androgynous* character. What can I say? I love a good androgynous character design.
Scarlet Venom is more of a morally grey character than a superhero or villain. They help who needs it and let venom eat who’s evil. Yes, not very good of them, but what can I say? I like people who can have moral quandaries over people.
