The Jester.
This is part of the History Reimagined Collection and I have to say, a personal staple. I wanted this piece to reflect a personal favorite, Clown-core. This Jester outfit is comprised of red and blue sides mixed with a tan or golden brown ruffles and fringes.
I wanted this outfit to be a very strange outfit while still tying into the theme of historical fashion.
I like a little bit of clown-core from time to time and it’s something that is a little too bizarre to add into a historical collection, but in medieval times, the Jester’s job was to entertain the king and the rest of the aristocrats and nobility of the king’s court.
This was typically a pretty well-paying role on the downside of always being entertaining at the king’s whim.
