History Reimagined: The Swordsman

The Swordsman.

This design in the collection was meant to represent the honor and mobility of the lone swordsman. Throughout history, there have been many great swordsmen who fought for honor, country, or maybe personal vengeance, but all of them had great skill.

This position was typically low-to-no pay, as Swordsmen were seen as to be fighting for honor. Mercenaries were a different position from the Swordsmen. They could be hired by the king, trained by royal guards, or just on their own seeking their own way.

This look was majorly inspired by Indigo Montoya, from The Princess Bride.

I wanted the tall boots for mobility and protection, the leather pants for sleek movement, and the loose-cotton shirt for dramatic flair.
